Personal Information Provided by You
Your REP only collects your personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) through this Site when you choose to provide such information or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. Personal Information can include your name, address, telephone number, and/or email address. Your REP uses your Personal Information to address your requests for information, products, or services, and may use it at some point in the future to fulfill business transactions. Your REP will not sell, rent, license, or trade your Personal Information with third parties for their own direct marketing use unless you give us general or specific consent to do so.
Your REP may disclose Personal Information in connection with conducting audits, responding to legal and/or regulatory requirements, enforcing the REP policies, or in responding to complaints or safety or security concerns. Your REP may also share your Personal Information with: (a) members of the corporate family and any successors; (b) other companies or organizations that work with, or on behalf of the REP to provide products and services; (c) law enforcement or other governmental officials, in response to a verified request relating to a criminal investigation or alleged illegal activity; and/or (d) other business entities, in connection with the sale, assignment, merger or other transfer of REP business to such business entity. Your REP will disclose Personal Information in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Automatically Collected Information and Anonymous Information
Each time a visitor comes to the Site, your REP collects some information to improve the overall quality of the visitor’s online experience, including product/service monitoring, product/service improvement, and targeted advertising. Such information may include referral data (e.g., the address of the last URL a user visited prior to clicking through to the Site) and your web browser and operating platform type.
Aggregated Data: In addition to collecting these types of information, your REP collects aggregate queries for internal reporting and targeted advertising. Your REP also counts, tracks, and aggregates the visitor’s activity into the REP’s analysis of general traffic flow at the Site. To these ends, your REP may merge information about you into aggregated group data and other databases. In some cases, your REP may remove personal identifiers from Personal Information and maintain it in aggregate form that may later be combined with other information to generate anonymous, aggregated statistical information. Such anonymous, group data may be shared on an aggregated basis with REP affiliates, business partners, service providers and/or vendors; if it does so, your REP will not disclose your individual identity (except as permitted under this Privacy Policy).
Web Server Logs and IP Addresses: An Internet Protocol (“IP”) address is a number that automatically identifies the computer/machine you have used to access the Internet. The IP address enables our server to send you the webpages that you want to visit, and it may disclose the server owned by your Internet Service Provider. Your REP may use IP addresses to conduct Site analyses and performance reviews and to administer the Site.
Cookies and Web Beacons: Cookies are pieces of information that a website transfers to a user’s computer for purposes of storing information about a user’s preferences. Cookies in and of themselves do not personally identify users, although they do identify a user’s computer. Many websites use cookies as a standard practice to provide useful features when a user visits the site and most web browsers are set up to accept cookies. The REP uses cookies to improve your online experience when visiting the Site. Some third-party advertisers may use their own cookies. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, but some portions of the Site may not work properly if you refuse cookies.
Some of Site’s web pages may use web beacons in conjunction with cookies to compile aggregate statistics about Site usage. A web beacon is an electronic image (also referred to as an “action tag,” “single-pixel,” or “clear GIF”) that is commonly used to track the traffic patterns of users from one web page to another in order to maximize web traffic flow and to otherwise analyze the effectiveness of web sites. Some web beacons may be unusable if you elect to reject their associated cookies.
Information Collected from Social Networking Sites: If you log on to the Site with your login credentials from a social networking site (e.g., Facebook or Twitter), we may receive Personal Information or anonymous information about you from such social networking site, in accordance with the terms of use and privacy policy of the third-party provider of such social networking site. For example, Facebook may share your friend list with us, in order to help us establish your account and find other users of the REP’s services that you know. We may add this information to the information that we have already collected from you via the Site.
Information Collected on Other Sites: Other websites may allow your REP, including via advertising companies and ad networks, to display advertisements on their websites. Your REP may use technologies such as cookies and web beacons, to collect information about users who view or interact with the REP’s advertisements. Your REP may collect information about where you, or others who are using your computer, saw and/or clicked on the advertisements we deliver, and possibly associate this information with your subsequent visits to the advertised websites. Your REP also may combine this information with Personal Information it has already collected from you. This information allows us to deliver targeted advertisements and gauge their effectiveness. Some of these third-party advertising companies may be advertising networks that are members of the Network Advertising Initiative, which offers a single location to opt out of ad targeting from member companies (www.networkadvertising.org).
Information Collected by Third Party Websites: The REP may provide a link to other third-party websites or locations. When you click on such a link, you will leave the Site and go to another website. During this process, another entity may collect Personal Information or anonymous data from you. Your REP has no control over, does not review, and cannot be responsible for, these outside websites or their content. Please be aware that the terms of this Privacy Policy do not apply to these outside websites or content, or to any collection of data after you click on links to such outside websites.
Links
The Site contains links to third party web sites that may offer information of interest. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those web sites, and your REP recommends reviewing those web sites’ privacy policies individually. As discussed in Website Terms and Conditions, your REP is not responsible for the content at these third-party sites.
Security
Your REP has established reasonable precautions to protect collected Personal Information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction, which include contractual, administrative, physical, and technical steps. Technical measures include use of firewall protection and in some instances may include encryption technology. Although your REP takes reasonable precautions to assess the reliability of such technology, it relies on the statements of the vendors of those products and services as part of its security evaluation. Please note that although your REP has endeavored to create a secure and reliable Site for users, the confidentiality of any communication or material transmitted to/from the Site cannot be guaranteed.
Your REP urges you to take every precaution to protect your personal data when you are on the Internet.
